It did take long for me to realize that he was not just another rabbi but a giant in midos and chochma. I was the principal but he was the Dean and Rosh yeshiva. I was young and made mistakes but he taught me the right way to go about things always in a tactful way. Two years later I moved out of NY but stayed in touch. He was always available to advise me whenever difficult problems came up. He gave of his time and wisdom to many many people. As recently as a month ago I called him for advice. I was shocked to learn yesterday that he was gone. It was to late for me to go to the Levaya as I live out of town. So I sent my daughter instead. May his family be comforted for their great loss.<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
