Three Chasanim -chosson tish |
Talk about a shidduch puzzle, this is what took place last night in Monroe, NY when three Satmar families all made shidduchim with each other on the same day. The Kohn, Philip, and Gross families matched three boys and three girls in a triple shidduch. A joint vort took place for the three engaged
chasanim and
kahllas where many came by to wish mazel tov to the three Satmar mishpachos. This is not uncommon among chasidim.
Heres the breakdown.
The
first engaged couple, the Choson is a son of R' Avrohom
Kohn engaged to daughter of R' Kalman
Philip.
Second engaged Choson son of R' Kalman
Philip engaged to daughter of R' Yehoshua
Gross.
Third couple Chosson son of R' Yehoshua
Gross engaged to daughter of R' Avrohom
Kohn sister of the first chosson.
look at picture below to make sense of it all.

ReplyDeleteI am surprised that you would print these photos of the kallahs. You seem to be bnei Torah and should know that it's inappropriate to publish photos of ladies for all to see and dissect (same goes for previous post of visiting day photos). Also, you recently posted an article about Busha, and these photos of the kallahs are private matters - not for the entire world to see and examine.
ReplyDeleteThe not printing pictures of ladies is a new phenomenon, newspapers dont do it for financial reasons to either to cater to a broad audience or to the chasidish crowd. There is also a difference between pictures showing affection and not tzniusdik to a picture of a choson and kallah.
DeleteKol kivudah bas melech pinima, not to be seen by thousands of strangers for no real reason.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is inappropriate to publish pictures of the Kallahs.
I wouldn't be sure it's a naval birshus hatorah, but I wouldn't either be so sure it's not, or worse, CH"V.
