Updated: FOUND! The youngerman was found by a group of hikers who alerted the park rangers on his location. He is doing well after wandering off from his group. He was walking deep in the woods for 5 hours until he was found in good health and spirit.
A Search is underway for a 37 year old youngerman from Williamsburg who went missing a few hours ago in Minnewaska state park near kerhonkson, NY. Please be mispalel for Avrohom Yosef ben Rivka (Friedman) who went missing while going on a walk with some of his family in Minnewaska state park. Catskills Hatzolah is asking for Volunteers to come and assist in the search. May he be found safe and sound.
I think it would also be appropriate, while davening for Avrohom Yosef ben Rivka to also add prayers for the dozens of wounded Israeli soldiers, some of this in serious condition, who have put their lives on the line for the rest of us.
