As Siyum hashas nears many frustrated as they can not afford the expensive seats while cheaper ones are all sold out.

With the August 1st Siyum date approaching, the $18 and $36 tickets are sold out. The only tickets left are those of $54 and up. Many who either procrastinated or just weren't sure of their summer bein hazmanim schedule can not afford the expensive tickets available for the Siyum. Apparently the $18 seats were sold out to groups and camps within the first few weeks when tickets went on sale.  Recently they were made available again but only for a short time. "I want to bring my 2 kids" a friend commented, but I cant afford it.

The internet Asifa that took place in May at Citifield charged a flat rate $10 fee for all tickets. Hopefully the Agudah can make arrangements for the many youngeleit who can not afford the expensive tickets but want to partake in the siyum. Either they fill up or the other option is having empty seats which nobody wants.

  1. Torah doesn't come cheap. And besides, the Agudah needs to make back all they lost after the last siyum...

  2. Oorah is giving out tickets through its chavrusah program.

  4. It makes no difference what part of the stadium your in all eyes will be on the jumbo-tron. I dont understand what the difference in ticket prices are. Remember this is an outdoor stadium. A good idea to bring mosquito repellent as they tend to be out in August.

  5. Check out the pricing at the recently announced www.siyumhashas12.com. A different sort of event, with family friendly pricing.
