| Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz visits IDF soldiers |
Just days after Philanthropist Reb Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz treated
400 US Marines to a hearty meal at an airport restaurant of their choosing, he did a similar feat for IDF soldiers in Israel. On the way to the airport on his return trip he chanced upon a artillery regiment and met them for a half hour. He asked the soldiers what they were lacking and pledged a half a million NIS for winter gear. They will receive personal gear that will keep them warm for winter which includes, brass coat , gloves , scarf , T-shirts , heating and a personal bag. In addition the use for an entire year food and drink vending machines at his own expense. The soldiers were very impressed with his visit and generosity. He left a strong everlasting impression on them.
